Products & Ingredients

  • What's in your soap? Our soaps are handmade in small batches using the traditional cold-process method, with goat milk, shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, rice bran oil, palm oil, and castor seed oil as our core ingredients. Specific scents may include additional ingredients like essential/fragrance oils, oatmeal, kelp, or activated charcoal. Check each product page for the full ingredient list.

  • Do your products contain nut oils or allergens I should know about? Yes. We use coconut oil and palm oil (tree nut oils) in all of our soap and shampoo bars, and sweet almond oil is used in all of our Goat Milk Lotions. Some bars also contain walnuts as a natural exfoliant. If you have a tree nut allergy, please check the ingredient list on the specific product page before purchasing, or reach out to us if you have questions.

  • Is your soap vegan? No, our soaps are made with goat milk, so they are not vegan. They are handcrafted for sensitive skin using natural, wholesome ingredients.

  • Do you only sell soap bars? Nope! While soap bars are our core product, we've expanded over the years to include lotions, creams, body butters, sugar scrubs, bath bombs, candles, and accessories. Browse our collection to find your favorites.

  • How long does the soap last / does it expire? Our soaps are cured lye soaps, which means they actually continue to cure and improve as they sit. We recommend using bars within 6–8 months of purchase for the best quality. Over time, scent may slowly dissipate from the outside of the bar, but don't worry, it opens back up once lathered with water.

Shipping

  • When will my order ship? We ship same-day Monday–Friday for orders received by 2:00 PM CST. Orders placed after 2:00 PM CST on Friday, or over the weekend, will ship the following Monday.

  • Do you offer free shipping? Yes, free shipping on all orders over $60.

  • Do you ship internationally? We ship across the US, and also to all US military bases globally (APO/FPO addresses).

  • What if my order arrives damaged, or never arrives? Just let us know! We'll replace anything that arrives damaged or gets lost in transit with a new shipment at no extra cost.

Returns & Exchanges

  • What's your return policy? Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately can't offer a refund or exchange.

  • How do I request a return? Contact us with the reason for your return request, and we'll take it from there.

Orders & Subscriptions

  • Do you offer a subscription option? Yes, we offer subscription plans on select products so you never run out of your favorites. We'll add more products to our available subscriptions as we continue to grow.

  • How do I edit, skip, or cancel my subscription? All subscription plans can be managed directly from your customer profile, where you can edit, pause, skip, or cancel anytime. Access your account by clicking the Account link at the top right of our site.

Wholesale & Retail

  • Do you offer wholesale pricing? Yes! We work with retailers who want to carry Lynchburg Soap Company products. Our wholesale minimum order is $150.

  • How do I set up a wholesale account? Click here to fill out a wholesale application and get started!

About Lynchburg Soap Company

  • Where are your products made? Right here in middle Tennessee! Our small team makes every bar by hand, from scratch, using the traditional cold-process method.

  • How do you decide what new products to launch? Every year, we take our time developing new products based on what our customers actually ask for. We send an annual customer survey each fall to gather feedback directly, and we use that input, along with everyday customer requests, to guide what we create next.

  • What is the ShowerUp Nashville partnership? We donate excess quality soap, cut into single-use bars, to the ShowerUp Nashville to help provide clean showers for those in need in our local community. You can contribute by purchasing a Bar for Nashville a donation on behalf of someone in need, cut to 1/4 size for single-use.

  • Where can I find you in person? We have a store open 7 days a week at the Nashville Farmers Market. You can also shop in our factory in Shelbyville or our store in historic Lynchburg, TN. Find our locations and hours here!
